Bio
University studies landed me a degree in Cultural Anthropology. I'm an active artist in many mediums including ink, watercolor, paper, fabric, metal, practitioner of string geekiness, and fully intend to get around to practicing my lute one of these years.
The majority of the life stuff in my Journal is friends only. There you will find political rantings, spiritual musings, cooking and sewing notes, SCA-fu, and banter about life with an engineer, cats and kids. Occasionally even the ornery parrot makes an appearance.
Past resident of multiple states in the Southern half of the USA, still a resident of the deserts of Arizona. For the SCA folks the kingdoms are Outlands, Ansteorra and now Atenveldt.

AKA: the Crazy Laurel, Suckin Up all the Awesome

Remember kids... Sarcasm is a survival trait.

"Darkness is not going to suddenly repent his sins just because the snot-nosed 10 year old 'hero' is sniveling at him. He's going to take his wand, fry the kid and go have some bacon and world-domination!" -Bill Lewis

"Is there enough of God left, in the dust between the stars, to dance up more life than your fragile ego can stand?" -- J. Hinkle, Musings

"Be very careful if you make a woman cry, because God counts her tears. The woman came out of a man's rib, not from his feet to be walked on. Not from his head to be superior, but from the side to be equal, under the arm to be protected and next to the heart to be loved." -- Talmud
